About the role

We are seeking a skilled handyman for part-time or full-time positions. This role involves using your carpentry and problem-solving skills to work on some of the nicest homes in Dane County. Responsibilities may include finishing punchlists, handling maintenance items, and performing detailed finish work. We provide a company truck and tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete punch lists and maintenance items in high-quality homes
• Perform detailed finish work with a focus on quality over speed
• Work independently after receiving project instructions and specifications
• Maintain clear communication with the Michael F. Simon team and clients
• Uphold a safe work environment and high-quality standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a skilled carpenter, woodworker, or handyman
• Live within 15 minutes of the Madison area
• Finish carpentry experience
• Comfortable using Dropbox and smartphones
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
