Handy Person / Jack of all Trades

Freelance project-based contractor. Jobs are one-day assignments and all work must be completed on site and in person. Clients are located mostly in the tristate area; candidates are responsible for their own transportation.

About Us

Jonathan Rosen is an NYC-based high-end residential interior designer who specializes in rapid-fire one-day makeovers. We take great pride in the quality of our services and hold our team to a very high standard of craftsmanship and professionalism. The candidate will work directly with Jonathan, alongside the rest of the install team (10-15 people). There will be film crews on site, so the candidate must be comfortable working around others and potentially being on camera.

Responsibilities

• Installations (artwork, mirrors, blinds/shades)
• Electrical work (installing light fixtures, dimmers, and receptacles)
• Handle fine art, high-end furniture, and dismantle/build expensive pieces without damage
• Occasional pickups of supplies or furniture on days leading up to install days
• Work as part of a team to problem-solve, work quickly, and efficiently

Requirements

• Own tools and equipment, and come prepared to the job site
• Good communication skills
• Painting experience (a bonus)
• Professional behavior at all times; unprofessional behavior of any kind is not tolerated
• References are required
