About the role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Handyperson to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house facilities.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain carpets and other floor coverings.
• Carry out repairs to furniture and fixtures.
• Provide general maintenance and repairs to hotel property and equipment as directed.
• Provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
• Responsible for all tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional communication and presentation.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance role is advantageous but not essential.
