Handbag Designer

DNAM Brands is a family-owned and operated company that owns and licenses a portfolio of globally recognized fashion and lifestyle brands, including Von Dutch, Ed Hardy, Valentino Orlandi, Allbirds, Badgley Mischka, and more. We are looking to hire a Handbag Designer for role with DNAM Brands. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who thrives in a fast-paced, fashion forward environment and wants hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle - from concept to final sample. Responsibilities Support the accessories design team with daily design and development tasksAssist in creating tech packs, sketches, and colorways for accessories stylesCoordinate samples, track revisions, and maintain development timelinesResearch trends, materials, and competitive productsOrganize design files, line sheets, and sample libraries Qualifiations Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field1-2 years of experience or relevant internship in accessories or fashion designDemonstrated passion for handbags and accessories design with strong knowledge of materials, hardware, and constructionAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopYou must be based in or willing to commute to our office to be considered for this position We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
