Hand Up Hub - Volunteers

About the Role

The Hand Up Hub is a resource center in development for Warren and DeKalb counties, the shared heartbeat of Middle Tennessee. We're building a place where neighbors can find food, clothing, showers, laundry, internet, job help, and mentorship. While we're not open yet, we're seeking dedicated individuals to help us establish this vital community resource from the ground floor.

Responsibilities

We need help with the following areas:

• Outreach: Share our posts, spread the word about the Hub, and help us gain visibility.
• Grant Research: Identify grants we qualify for and assist in tracking deadlines.
• Fundraising: Plan small events, reach out to local businesses, and connect us with potential donors.
• Resource Scouting: Find free or donated supplies, tools, furniture, and building materials.
• Administrative Support: Assist with emails, scheduling, filing, and organization.
• Community Connections: Introduce us to churches, businesses, and organizations for potential partnerships.
• Advisory Board: Professionals in finance, legal, healthcare, nonprofit, or business to provide guidance.
