Prominent Job Functions

• Promote exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
• Greet and acknowledge guests entering the restaurant and/or seated in the assigned service area.
• Promptly offer beverage service and other amenities to guests.
• Provide alcohol service and collect payment.
• Provide attentive service throughout guest meals, graciously serving, and refilling beverages and condiments.
• Maintain the area for cleanliness by promptly removing dishes, wiping off chairs, tables, and high/booster chairs, and resetting the table in a quick and timely manner.

Teamwork and Communication

• Keep the Shift Manager and Lead apprised of any customer concerns or positive remarks.
• Promote a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
• Promptly report all concerns to Supervisor.
• Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled in a safe manner.
• Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
• Cross-train and provide coverage to Cashier/Hostess as needed.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of food service experience with at least six (6) months in table side service in a restaurant setting.
• Three (3) months of cash handling experience.
• Frequent standing and/or walking for long periods of time, performing repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bending, lifting, and maneuvering 25 lbs.
• Effective communication skills - able to read, verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions in English, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
