Responsibilities
- Counsels individual, family, and group sessions
- Provides advocacy, linkage, and referral services
- Makes mental health assessments as needed
- Attends IEP and other school-related meetings
- Provides parent education
- Maintains chart records professionally
- Interacts with school personnel and other agencies
- Conducts group sessions with children and/or parents
- Provides therapeutic support
- Completes documentation in a timely manner
- Enforces center policies and procedures, and CARF standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in human services or related field with coursework or experience in cultural diversity, human development, mental illness etiology, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and intellectual disabilities
- One year experience preferred
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Must have an F endorsement on driver's license for transporting clients

Starting salary for this position is approximately $52,274/year based on relevant experience and education.
