About the role

The Redirections Master's Level Clinician is responsible for administering and overseeing all clinical and therapeutic functions of ADT outpatient program. This includes leading daily IOP groups, conducting individual and family therapy sessions, managing case loads, and ensuring all documentation is completed and submitted within acceptable timelines. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and an F endorsement on a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily IOP groups
  • Conduct Individual & Family Therapy
  • Lead Family Night 1x/month
  • Contact & screen (A-COD) all referrals w/in 1 business day of call & set up intakes
  • Complete Assessments/Intakes timely
  • Complete Diagnosis assessment, treatment plans, discharge plans
  • Complete and track all Insurance information (pre-auths, concurrents & d/c)
  • Maintain referrals/group size/insurance to meet productivity standards
  • Complete supervised Drug Screens as needed
  • Update census on weekly basis
  • Complete Progress/Clinician/Therapist/Weekly Notes within acceptable Center timeframes
  • Submit monthly paperwork by prescribed deadline (billing sheets, etc.)
  • Transportation as needed
  • Case management as needed
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings/supervision
  • Provide therapeutic support and crisis intervention
  • Uphold center policy and procedures, and CARF standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or other related field of study
  • Knowledge of addiction and adolescent development is preferred
  • One year experience preferred
  • Experience working with adolescents and previous experience in the alcohol and drug field is preferred
  • Experience/knowledge of motivational interviewing, Re-Ed philosophy and 12-step programs, as well as assessment, treatment planning and after-care is beneficial
  • Valid driver's license
  • Lifting up to 50lbs. frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Close Eye Work
  • Hearing of normal and soft tones
  • Ability to effectively and ethically counsel children and families
  • Ability to present professionally and work within a team format to plan, implement, and evaluate successful interventions
  • Ability to effectively run and process and psycho-educational groups with children/adolescents and families
  • Ability to work within a team format to meet positive goals for children and interface with other agencies involved in the ecology of the family
  • Must be capable of assisting in utilizing nonviolent methods of crisis intervention including therapeutic holding
  • Must have mental ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure and effective decision-making skills, ability to set and demonstrate appropriate boundaries, ability to be an empathic listener, flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to working with diverse populations
  • Must also have the ability to communicate effectively and possess good time management and organizational skills
  • Must be computer literate and have ability to communicate effectively (oral and written communication)
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, running, and walking. Physical de-escalation techniques will only be implemented at Helen Ross McNabb Center facilities, and not in community settings.

  • Must have course work and/or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and intellectual and developmental disabilities

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary starting at $53,434/year, depending on relevant education and experience. The Center provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Pay

$53,434 - $85,000 annually

Schedule

Hours vary based on program needs and may require evening and weekend availability.
