About the role

As a Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You'll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally you may work with other companies' products in the stores you service.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, mass retailers).
• Utilize a Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department.
• Use technology for day‑to‑day work, communication with supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Provide holiday support: work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; may be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
• Participate in department resets: assist with installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections; typically notified two weeks in advance, possibly evenings or weekends.
• Support other team members as needed within your territory as part of Hallmark’s field organization.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital hand‑held device to open, read documents, and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Physically demanding role requiring high energy and sense of urgency; must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion; required to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step l
