Responsibilities
- Pre-Registration process
- Rooming patient and prepare patient for provider exam
- Absorb and document accurate and complete medical history and current medication
- Aid oncologists with oncologic procedures
- Administer IM and SQ immunizations
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Certification or registration from an approved certifying organization for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NHA)
- Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification
Qualifications
- McFarland Clinic experience preferred
- Two years medical office experience preferred
- EHR experience preferred
