Job Details
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for RN-Infusion Nurse Float for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Registration process
- Rooming patient and preparing patient for provider exam
- Absorb and document accurate and complete medical history and current medication
- Aid oncologists with oncologic procedures
- Administer IM and SQ immunizations
- Prepare and administer chemotherapy and biologics
- Phone triage
- Aid physicians with clerical work associated with their practice
- Patient education in the area of treatment and disease management
- Traveling with Oncologists to outreach clinics
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of Current State Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
- Oncology Certified Nurse preferred

Days: (FT): 4 - 10 hour days with Saturday rotation
Hours: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM
Experience
- Previous McFarland Clinic experience preferred
- Computer/EMR experience
- Prefer Oncology and/or Med Surg experience
Pre-employment
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Criminal history background check
