Halfords Apprentice Technician

About the role

Based in our Evesham Autocentre, you'll work alongside experienced technicians, learning how to inspect, service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles. No two days are the same, with exposure to modern technologies, diagnostics and complex vehicle repairs. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in building a career in the motor industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles
• Work with modern vehicle technologies and diagnostic tools
• Assist experienced technicians in complex vehicle repairs

Training & Qualifications

You'll work towards:

• Level 2 Autocare

Training includes workplace safety, vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and electrical systems, supported by dedicated GTG and Halfords mentors.

Entry Requirements

• GCSE Level 5 or above or equivalent in Maths and English (or equivalent)

5-day working week. 40 hours (under 18s) / 44 hours (18+). Autocentre opening hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm.
