About the Role
We’re hiring an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Shop Technician at our rental facility in Phoenix, AZ (Advanced Solutions). Join us to grow with a team that’s transforming the construction industry through innovative technology, real-time support, and a people-first culture.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided.
Responsibilities
- Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
- Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
- Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools using independent judgment.
- Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily.
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
- Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment as a Field Mechanic; maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.
- Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School diploma (Trade school certificate preferred).
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to the position.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
- Knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
This is a safety-sensitive position. Any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.
