About the role

As a Hairdressing & Barbering Tutor, you will work alongside Course Leaders and a Technician to provide hands‑on, expert teaching to learners enrolled with the Westminster Adult Education Service. Work location: 219 Lisson Grove, London, NW8 8LW.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course outlines and lesson plans
• Coordinate resources and materials
• Teach 2 days a week
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and behaviour
• Offer support and guidance to help learners develop their skills
• Assess and provide feedback on learner’s work
• Undertake one‑to‑ones and tutorials to maximise opportunities, progression and development

Qualifications

• Women’s Hairdressing and Men’s Barbering – Level 3 or above
• Assessor and IAQ qualification
• Teaching qualification (PTLLS as a minimum)

Pay

Salary range: £36.77 per hour
