HAIR STYLIST/ ASSISTANT

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in selecting hair products and styling services
• Prepare and maintain salon equipment and supplies
• Perform basic haircuts, styles, and color treatments under supervision
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for hair care and styling
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally

Skills

• Strong customer service skills
• Basic knowledge of hair cutting and styling techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay

Starting salary range: $20 - $25 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Saturday, varying shifts to accommodate client needs
