Hach Field Service Technician I – Dallas, TX (Remote, 4 Day x 10- hour schedule, Company Vehicle)

This is a home‑based role located in Dallas, TX or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Field Service Manager and deliver high‑quality customer service.
• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
• Promote a positive customer experience and serve as on‑site customer contact for technical and service‑related problems.
• Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc.
• Some applications may involve instrument servicing in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division 2).
• Submit prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
• Follow safe work practices according to company policy.
• Execute administrative activities in support of service visits.
• Travel daily to customer sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of field service experience and/or customer‑facing roles preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to rent a car and/or book hotel rooms under applicable state law.
