Training & Schedule

  • Comprehensive 10-week training period: 8 weeks in the field with a dedicated trainer and 2 weeks classroom-based training in Loveland, CO.
  • 3 days off per week during training; after training, 4 shifts per week at 10-hour days based on workload demand.
  • Company car provided (maintenance and fuel covered), along with a company cell phone and corporate credit card for expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach instrumentation using established company standard work.
  • Serve as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Work in municipal and industrial settings, including drinking water/wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical plants, and food/beverage processing facilities (some applications may involve NEC Class I Division 2 hazardous locations).
  • Submit prompt, accurate service reports for billing, inventory, instrument history, and failure tracking.
  • Follow safe work practices and execute administrative tasks in support of service visits.

This role is based in the Seattle area and supports customers throughout the territory, requiring daily travel to customer sites with up to 75% overnight stays. Company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals are provided for overnight stays.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a travel-based field service and/or customer-facing role strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma required; associate/technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair is helpful but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to rent vehicles/hotel rooms for business travel.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $29.00 - $31.00 USD per hour, with eligibility for incentive pay. Compensation is determined by factors including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
