HACCP Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain HACCP programs, prerequisite programs, validations, and food safety documentation
- Ensure ongoing compliance with BRC standards, GMPs, EMP programs, and microbiological testing requirements
- Lead Food Safety Meetings and support plant-wide food safety initiatives
- Conduct internal gap audits and prepare for customer, regulatory, and certification audits
- Track, trend, and respond to non-conformances (NRs), CAPAs, sanitation KPIs, and MSS performance
- Partner cross-functionally on new product launches, equipment changes, and food safety risk assessments
- Lead and support the FSMOC process and food safety training efforts
- Collaborate with QA, Operations, Sanitation, and other manufacturing facilities on continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related scientific field required
- HACCP and/or GMP certification strongly preferred
- 3+ years of food safety or quality assurance experience within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles, BRC standards, EMP programs, CAPA processes, and food safety systems
- Experience supporting or leading internal/customer/regulatory audits
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with both floor presence and administrative responsibilities
