About the role

The Habilitation Training Specialist (HTS) is responsible for providing training and support to individuals with disabilities to enhance their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to individual needs
• Assess participant progress and adjust training plans accordingly
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain accurate records and reports of training sessions and participant outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of disability-related laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
