About the role
The Habilitation Training Specialist (HTS) is responsible for providing training and support to individuals with disabilities to enhance their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs tailored to individual needs
- Assess participant progress and adjust training plans accordingly
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate records and reports of training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of disability-related laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
