Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Stock all merchandise on designated truck days, ensuring shelves are filled, organized, and rotated according to store standards.
  • Aid the store managers and general manager with daily operational tasks and leadership support.
  • Place truck and product orders accurately and in a timely manner to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Complete shelf resets, including reorganizing sections, updating layouts, and ensuring planogram compliance.
  • Enter new items into the POS system, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and department assignments.
  • Print and place price tags for shelves, endcaps, and promotional displays.
  • Perform POS overrides when authorized, ensuring accuracy and adherence to store policies.
  • Ensure inventory is stored safely and efficiently.
  • Provide guidance to stockers and assist with training new team members.
  • Support customer service needs by assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Meets IMGR&C Values that are reflected in the letters A-P-A-C-H-E, Accountability, Productivity, Acceptance, Communication, Hospitality, and Enthusiasm.
  • Approaches all activities with enthusiasm and encourages enthusiasm from others.
  • Chooses a positive approach in all situations.

  • Works in collaboration with other Team Members to achieve event goals, exemplifies teamwork.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a grocery store or general retail environment, with a strong understanding of stocking, inventory flow, and store operations.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience, demonstrating the ability to guide, train, and support team members effectively.
  • Proficiency with POS systems (Point of Sale), including item setup, pricing adjustments, and override procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for several hours.

Work Environment

  • The noise level in the work environment is loud.
  • The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment.
  • The team member may be exposed to biohazardous fluids such as blood and other body fluids.
  • The team member may be exposed to hostile environments with guests.
  • May be subject to high stress environments.
