About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze traffic flow models
- Collaborate with engineers and planners to design efficient transportation systems
- Conduct research on traffic patterns and trends
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients and internal teams
- Stay updated with the latest traffic planning and design technologies and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with traffic signal control systems
- Knowledge of traffic engineering standards and guidelines
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS)
- Understanding of traffic safety and accessibility principles
- Strong project management skills

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
