About the role
The Department of Pathology of the Cleveland Clinic is seeking an AP-Boarded pathologist with expertise in Gynecologic Pathology. We are looking for an individual who values working in a collegial environment at an institution with superb clinical material and collaborations with dedicated clinical colleagues. We seek candidates who strive to be an excellent GYN pathologist with a strong interest in resident and medical school teaching and a demonstrated record in clinical or translational research. Fellowship training in gynecologic pathology is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clinical colleagues to provide expert diagnostic services in gynecologic pathology.
- Teach residents and medical students in the field of gynecologic pathology.
- Participate in clinical and translational research projects.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality clinical and laboratory standards.
- Provide consultation services as needed.
Requirements
- AP-Boarded in Gynecologic Pathology.
- Fellowship training in gynecologic pathology is strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in teaching and research.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Qualifications
- MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current medical license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio.
- Completion of anatomic and clinical pathology residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- Successful completion of the American Board of Pathology (ABP) examination in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology.

Pay
Minimum salary: $340,000
Maximum salary: $505,500
