About the role
Join Our Fun & Rewarding Team as a Children's Gymnastics Program Lead/Instructor at The Little Gym of Naperville!
Responsibilities
- Teach outstanding classes to children of all ages (4 months to 12 years) using our fun, gymnastics-based curriculum
- Spot confidently and safely, while coaching other instructors on proper spotting techniques and class management
- Help lead and support the instructor team by assisting with team meetings, class assignments, and instructor development
- Maintain class quality and help ensure every class delivers the high-energy experience families expect
- Engage with families before and after classes to ensure a welcoming, high-quality experience
- Step in as a shift leader when needed to help keep classes, staff, and operations running smoothly
- Support the day-to-day operations of the gym, including scheduling support, communications, and helping the team stay organized
Requirements
- Experience leading or working with groups of children (gymnastics, dance, cheer, teaching, camps, childcare, or similar environments)
- A natural ability to connect with both children and parents, creating a welcoming and positive experience for families
- A mature, dependable leader who can set the tone for a shift and help guide other instructors
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to meet kids at their level—using imagination, energy, and encouragement to keep classes exciting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear direction to both children and teammates

- Confidence in leading a room full of kids—keeping them engaged, energized, and having fun while maintaining structure and safety
- Someone who takes pride in doing things the right way and helps maintain a positive team culture
