Gymnastics Coach

About the role

We are seeking a gymnastics coach to positively impact the community through our YMCA programs.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and supportive environment for learning and growth.
• Instruct and evaluate program skills according to YMCA standards.
• Evaluate and report progress to parents and complete incident reports.
• Supervise program participants and manage behavior using positive support techniques.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.

Requirements

• Age 18 or older.
• 3-5 years of experience in gymnastics settings.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• An enjoyment of working with children and maintaining positive relationships with parents.
• USAG Safety Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching gymnastics programs.
• Ability to follow YMCA standards and guidelines.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.

Pay

$13 per hour, starting salary.
