About the Role
Fannin County Performing Arts (FCPA) is seeking passionate, dependable, and enthusiastic dance instructors to join our growing studio family. We are a Christian, family-centered dance studio dedicated to providing high-quality dance education in a positive, encouraging, and age-appropriate environment. Our goal is to treat every dancer like family while helping each student grow in confidence, technique, and a love for dance.
Responsibilities
- Teach dance classes in one or more of the following areas: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Acro/Tumbling, Musical Theater, Preschool/Toddler Dance
- Create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate classes
- Support the faith-based atmosphere of FCPA and maintain a respectful, modest, and family-friendly studio environment
- Work as part of a team to ensure a positive and encouraging teaching style
Requirements
- Previous dance training and/or teaching experience
- A genuine love for working with children
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Dependability and professionalism
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful, modest, and family-friendly studio environment
- Christian values and willingness to support the faith-based atmosphere of FCPA
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following dance styles: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Acro/Tumbling, Musical Theater, Preschool/Toddler Dance
- Teaching experience preferred, but open to experienced dancers interested in developing their teaching skills
