Primary location: Canal Road, Department of Applied Gene and Cell Therapy Center. Full-time position, 40 hours per week, day shift.
Responsibilities
- Complete accurate and detailed records and all documentation as required for compliance to GxP.
- Maintain and complete training required to perform assigned tasks.
- Analyze data, perform statistical and graphical analysis of data, and interpret results.
- Actively participate in laboratory meetings.
- Perform maintenance and cleaning of the cleanroom manufacturing facility.
- Routinely perform Environmental Monitoring sampling and/or testing of sampled media.
- Support equipment calibration and validation.
- Promptly respond to and troubleshoot erroneous results or problems with laboratory equipment or facilities.
- Order supplies from vendors and storeroom, ensuring proper storage requirements are met.
- Report facility and equipment failures and alarms to laboratory management or QA team.
- Perform work with a high level of integrity and honesty, maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain required documentation systems.
- Assist in daily laboratory operations, including answering phones, organizing, and cleaning.
- Provide appropriate safety monitoring checks (radiation safety, biosafety, etc.).
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and protocols.
- Cooperate with performance improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
- Work with the Quality Assurance group to ensure product quality, test results, and compliance.
- Perform assigned duties strictly according to SOP and maintain required proficiency and competency.
- Assist in training laboratory personnel and mentor junior staff.
- Serve as a contact for resolving complex issues, providing education, guidance, and work direction.
- Provide input and feedback to managers on hiring decisions, professional development, and performance management.
- Handle raw materials, environmental monitoring (EM), shipping, equipment maintenance, and basic manufacturing tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay
Expected starting pay range: $22.18 - $27.73 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
