Gene Therapy Lab Technician

This role is based in Columbus, OH, and is a permanent, fully onsite position on 1st shift (Monday–Friday). Overtime is expected.

About the role

The Laboratory Technician will perform gene-therapy manufacturing using cell-culture techniques in a highly regulated, cleanroom laboratory environment. Key activities include:

• Performing cell culturing and working with bioreactors
• Executing GMP production processes for biological products in accordance with batch records, SOPs, and regulatory standards
• Providing hands-on support for day-to-day GMP and viral-vector core operations, including preparation, execution, and completion of manufacturing runs
• Documenting laboratory activities
• Supporting GMP resources and supply chain by ordering materials, tracking inventory, and maintaining stock levels

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics, or a related scientific field
• Experience working in a GMP or similarly regulated environment (industry, internships, etc.)
• Master’s degree candidates will be considered; PhD candidates are overqualified for this role

Pay

$24.00/hour
