Schedule

• 2nd shift schedule is Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:00 am
• Shift incentive includes a 10%–15% premium, paid lunch, and 3-day weekends
• Eligibility to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
• Removal and installation of panels and components
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues
• De-fueling aircraft
• Engine removal/installations
• Operating ground support equipment
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
• Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
• Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not mandatory)

Qualifications

• AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred; 0–2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar
• AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred; 2–4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance; experience on corporate aircraft preferred
• AMT III: Airframe license required; Powerplant license highly preferred; 4–6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance; experience on corporate aircraft highly preferred
• AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant license required; 6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance; extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms; subject matter expert in all areas of the job

Physical Requirements

• Lifts 50 lbs
• Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting
• Routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands
• Climb ladders and stairs, work in small, restricted areas
• Standing for long periods of time

Mental Requirements

• Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines
• Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation
• Work with others in a professional manner

Supervision

• Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance
• May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations
• Work outside during aircraft runs will occur
• Varied positions in and around the aircraft
