About the role

The Music Department at Atlanta International School (AIS) is seeking part-time private music instructors to join their after-school private instruction program. Lessons are offered in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions weekly, with flexible scheduling based on student availability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide private music lesson instructions to students in 30, 45, or 60-minute weekly lessons.
  • Work part-time, typically one or two afternoons per week (from 3:00 PM onward).

Requirements

  • Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (preferred), or professional proficiency and experience with teaching, performance, and pedagogy.
  • Master or Doctorate level college students with teaching experience and the recommendation of two college instructors may also apply.
