About the Role
Provide counseling and guidance services to students and parents through the implementation of the District's Guidance Program. Goals include helping students:
- Make a healthy adjustment to school
- Take advantage of available educational opportunities
- Set goals compatible with interests, values, and abilities
- Attain a better understanding of themselves and others
- Learn to solve personal problems
- Learn to cope with physical, social, emotional, and educational difficulties
Requirements
- Ohio Teaching License - School Counselor
- Previous successful experience working in a multicultural school environment
Position duration: 200 days.
