About the role

Join our team as a Guest Teacher (Substitute Teacher) and contribute to the diverse and inclusive learning environment. As a Guest Teacher, you will play a vital role in continuing the education while the educator is away. You will be responsible for delivering lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, adapting to different teaching styles to meet all students' needs, and collaborating with school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students.

Requirements

Necessary Skills And Background

• Possess or ability to obtain a valid/appropriate Colorado Educator License, or possess a substitute teaching authorization.

Salary Information

Guest Teachers are paid either a full day or a half day:

• Full Day Rate: Licensure Requirements - Entry Level Daily Rate $145.00 1 or 3 year substitute authorizations - WITHOUT STEDI TRAINING
• Guest Teacher Daily Rate: 1 or 3 year substitute authorizations - WITH STEDI TRAINING
• Licensed Guest Teacher Daily Rate: Professional, Interim, Initial, or 5-Year Substitute Licenses
• Guest Teacher Retiree Daily Rate: $190.00
• In-Building Guest Teacher: $185.00
• Long Term Rate: $200.00

Schedule

There is no set number of hours or days guaranteed as a substitute. Substitutes will only be called to work while Adams 12 Five Star Schools is in session. Substitutes must actively substitute to remain on the substitute list.
