Responsibilities

  • Greet and register all guests, visitors, and vendors in accordance with established procedures.
  • Aid clients, residents, staff, and community members in locating departments and services.
  • Maintain a respectful demeanor in every interaction with internal or external guests.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue identification as required.
  • Communicate infection prevention updates and facility guidelines.
  • Provide directions for anywhere on campus as needed.
  • Answer and route incoming calls promptly and courteously using a multi-line phone system.
  • Rely accurate messages and voicemails to appropriate staff.
  • Receive and arrange for delivery or pick-up of items for residents and staff.
  • Provide general information about the organization and available services.
  • Overcome communication or language barriers using available tools and resources.
  • Contact Security, Environmental Services, or Facilities Management for assistance when necessary.
  • Adhere to schedule work hours with regular and predictable attendance.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 16 years of age or older
  • More than 6 months of customer service experience
  • Must be able to hear and communicate effectively in person and over the phone

Preferred

  • Knowledge of switchboard, phone systems and computer systems

Pay and Schedule

  • Starting pay range: $15.18 - $16.53 based on experience
  • Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm, including weekends

The Guest Services Representative is the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, vendors, and community members. This role ensures all guests receive a warm, professional, and respectful experience while visiting the facility.
