Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting and directing guests
- Screwing guests for prohibited items
- Securing areas
- Responding to emergency situations
- Ensuring the safety of all guests
- Reacting to requests for service and assistance
- Having a full working understanding of the specific event post
- Possessing the ability to communicate with patrons
- Anticipating problems and appropriate solutions
- Ensuring there is an effective and efficient response to patron issues
- Communicating with patrons through 2-way radio
- Observing employee and crowd behavior
- Keeping unauthorized persons out of restricted areas
- Representing the company in a polite and professional manner
- Directing customer service complaints and inquiries to proper manager/supervisor
- Abiding by facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Using a ticket scanner to allow patrons into facilities
- Assisting patrons according to ticket information
- Promoting a safe working environment for all employees
- Working open availability to work events on an on-going basis including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Maintaining the proper image and generating positive public relations
- Pick up loose debris/garbage following event
- Performing other duties assigned by the Guest Services Manager
Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, hear, and speak English
- Clean and neat in appearance
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to walk up and down steep stairs
Skills and Abilities
- Read, write, and speak English
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to stand for 6 - 10 hours
