About the Role
Under general supervision, the Guest Services Associate provides exceptional customer service to guests, enhances company brands, and facilitates communication across departments and to guests.
Responsibilities
- Ensures smooth operations of daily activities, including effective communication, managing traffic flow, and engaging guests.
- Greets all guests promptly and warmly; assists with questions, check-in, and provides excellent service.
- Performs daily operational responsibilities, including opening and closing duties.
- Answers all incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally; escalates to manager if guest needs additional assistance.
- Accurately processes transactions on the register system.
- Assists customers with amending orders and follows through on all levels, including working within internal databases and alerting affected departments.
- Assists managers, teams, and guests during emergency responses.
- Recommends property experiences, including dining, tastings, pool, and events to guests.
- Proactively assists current members and sells new memberships.
- Stays updated on local events and points of interest, communicating information appropriately to customers.
- Stays updated with ABC regulations and adheres to established policies regarding the handling and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Works on special projects, events, and experiences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months of related experience preferred; sales background desired.
- TIPS certification required within 30 days of employment.
- CA Food Handlers certification required within 30 days of employment.

- Ability to use multiple devices, including radios, computers, iPads, and phones.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Working Conditions
- Required to drive an automotive vehicle or equipment.
- Works in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to temperature variations.
- Exposure to weather-related temperature and humidity extremes.
- Shift rotation required.
- Required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Works in close quarters or confined spaces.
- Occasionally required to lift and carry cases of wine.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay
The pay range for this Non-Exempt position is $18.00 to $23.03 per hour. Actual placement within the range will be contingent upon factors including qualifications, education, experience, and internal equity.
