Guest Services Associate

About the role

To serve as the first face and voice of the Metal Museum, ensuring high-quality customer service for every visitor. Energy, enthusiasm, and an interactive demeanor are all required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and guiding them through the museum
• Answering questions about exhibits and museum history
• Ensuring smooth flow of visitors throughout the day
• Assisting with special events and programs

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and energetic personality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of local history and art museums a plus

Pay

Compensation is contingent on experience and ability. Part-time employment hour rate is $17-$19/hour.

Schedule

The typical work week for this position is 20 hours per week, 10:30 AM – 5:00PM. Scheduled days are subject to change based on institutional demand and availability.
