GUEST SERVICES AGENT (PART TIME)

About the Role

We are hiring immediately for a part-time Guest Services Agent position at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. This role involves checking guests in and out, resolving guest challenges, promoting hotel services, and upselling products. The position requires previous customer service and host experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Completes the registration/check-in process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent details.
• Ensures rooms and services are correctly accounted for within the guest statement.
• Assists guests with check-out payments or charges, accepting various forms of payment.
• Balances and drops receipts according to accounting specifications.
• Provides guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities.
• Receives and responds to special requests from guests or forwards them to appropriate team members.
• Promptly answers telephone and email inquiries, retrieves and forwards messages.
• Retrieves mail, packages, facsimiles, and other special items for guests as requested.
• Fields and resolves guest complaints or escalates them to the appropriate department.
• Assists guests in emergency situations.
• Maintains adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk.
• Performs special assignments as deemed by the GM, Guest Services Manager, or Manager on Duty.

Requirements

• Previous customer service and host experience in a healthcare setting required.

Pay

Pay Range: $13.50 per hour to $15.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time schedule; 3 to 4 days a week. Days and hours may vary, with rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
