About the role
The Aloft & Element North Kansas City is seeking energetic, guest-focused individuals to join their Front Desk / Guest Services team. Applicants should be passionate about hospitality, customer service, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome hotel guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately.
- Handle hotel reservations, phone inquiries, and guest requests.
- Resolve guest concerns and provide service recovery when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, dining, and entertainment options.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and leadership teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
- Uphold Marriott brand standards and guest service expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk, guest service, customer service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience with hotel property management systems such as Lightspeed or Marriott systems is a plus.
