About the role
We are an upscale, award-winning boutique hotel chain seeking a Guest Services Agent to join our dynamic team. This role involves interacting directly with guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience, and assisting with various tasks such as check-ins, check-outs, and room moves.
Responsibilities
- Completing daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs, and rates and types of available rooms.
- Responding to other requests from guests and providing welcome beverage and barista services as needed.
- Aiding arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
- Acting as a point of reference for guests requiring assistance or information, attending to their wishes and requirements.
- Acquiring and sharing knowledge of the hotel as well as the surrounding areas, venues, and attractions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three to six months related experience preferred.
- Possession of a valid food handlers card and alcohol service card (acquired after hire).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Ability to effectively interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
- Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
- Possession of a passion to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
