Guest Service Supervisor
About the Role
Our Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) is responsible for accomplishing store objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes directed by management. Responsibilities
- Supervise employees, ensuring they perform all job duties as implemented by management.
- Coach employees by providing constructive feedback to improve task performance.
- Greet guests and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
- Adhere to established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
- Operate the point of sale system according to corporate standards and maintain proper cash levels, including overseeing employees.
- Ensure all store housekeeping functions are completed, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
- Ensure 24/7 execution of all guest service programs and processes.
- Manage all cash processes, including deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
- Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints.
- Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be efficient and organized.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and register area.
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
- Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (e.g., cooler, outside, etc.).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Pay
Pay Range: $18.89 - $22.33
The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
