About the Role
Our Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) is responsible for accomplishing store objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes directed by management. Responsibilities
- Supervise employees to ensure they are performing all job duties implemented by management.
- Coach employees by giving them constructive feedback to help perform certain tasks.
- Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
- Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
- Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels (including employees being supervised).
- Ensure all store housekeeping functions are completed (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
- Ensure the 24/7 execution of all guest service programs and processes.
- Responsible for all cash processes which includes deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
- Always replenish products to ensure in-stock conditions.
- Address inquiries and complaints from guests.
- Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must be efficient and organized.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the position.
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
- Work in intermittent temperatures (i.e., cooler, outside, etc.).
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pay
$16.50 - $19.50 per hour. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
