Pay
Starting pay is $15–$17/hour, negotiable based on experience.
Schedule
Part-time and full-time positions available. Weekend availability required. Schedule varies according to business demands and may include day, evening, night, holiday, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests in a friendly, positive manner; build personal connections to make guests feel welcome and valued.
- Sell the property according to Suburban Inns sales standards.
- Gather guest data, including address information, credit cards, and signatures.
- Follow shift checklists daily to ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations.
- Record special needs, requests, and unique occurrences in Quore; communicate unusual events to the next shift.
- Complete required emergency training and stay knowledgeable of all emergency procedures.
- Maintain a neat and clean front-desk workspace and adjacent areas.
- Perform property walk-arounds throughout the shift; address issues such as trash, used towels, room-service trays, and safety or security concerns.
- Settle and reconcile guest accounts and paperwork; balance cash drawer and make appropriate cash drops.
- Provide excellent guest service by supplying information on hotel policies, services, and amenities.
- Respond to guest requests for assistance and local information (directions, dining, entertainment).
- Handle guest concerns and problem-solve in a tactful, professional manner.
- Maintain open communication between all hotel departments.
- Follow all Suburban Inns processes and exhibit regular, reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent related experience.
- Ability to interpret information, perform arithmetic functions, and use basic computer systems.
- Good communication skills.
- CPR training (may be completed upon hire).
Uniform and Appearance Guidelines
- Uniform and name tag provided; close-toed shoes are the responsibility of the team member.
- Hair must be kept well-groomed.
- Facial piercings and visible tattoos must be approved by management; offensive tattoos must remain covered at all times.
