Responsibilities
- Transport guests to surrounding areas and other destinations within the Guest Service Department.
- Pick up and drop off guests from the hotel and nearby locations.
- Cook up hotel vehicle activity with Valet Captains and Concierge team.
- Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.
- Aid guests with luggage when necessary.
- Answer guest questions and present a cheerful, knowledgeable, and professional image.
- Ensure cleanliness of Guest Service vehicle.
- Report any maintenance problems with hotel vehicles.
- Transport guests to destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload guests’ luggage, ensuring they receive the correct luggage.
- Have the ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. above the waist.
- Assist with other Guest Service duties such as delivering items to guest rooms (e.g., luggage, faxes, letters, packages, etc.).
- Perform any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management.
Qualifications
- Tools and Equipment: Hotel vehicle, Bell stand luggage carts, hand truck.
- Working Environment: Exterior and interior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
