Responsibilities
- Follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, seeking out opportunities to greet guests and fellow team members daily.
- Initiate friendly verbal greetings within 5 feet of guests and fellow team members.
- Keep head up, look around, and be aware of surroundings.
- Participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
- Patrol all sections of the property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security.
- Provide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testifying in court and other administrative hearings.
- Aid guests with lost and found requests.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Comply with attendance guidelines, regulatory guidelines, departmental policies, and company policies.
- Assist injured guests and apply first aid as necessary until professional help arrives.
- Check guests' identification to ensure they are 21 years of age or older before allowing entry to gaming areas, bars, and venues.
- Escorts employees with assets and sensitive keys.
- Maintain surveillance of the casino, parking lots, and all casino property areas for disturbances, crime, fire hazards, and undesirable people, reporting issues to a Security Supervisor.
- Complete written reports as assigned.
- Carry chips and paperwork between Table Games and Cashier areas.
- Verify slot drop transactions.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Meet attendance guidelines and comply with all state, federal, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Work independently and handle guest and employee issues rationally.
- Give clear and detailed reports when necessary.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with one year’s experience in a position with direct guest contact.
- Excellent customer and employee relations skills.
- Ability to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.
- Well-groomed appearance.
- Successfully complete the Security Service Officer Documentation Assessment.
- Age 21 or older.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License with no DUIs or suspensions within the last three years.
- No more than two moving vehicle violations within the last three years.
