About the role
We are seeking a Guest Producer to join our dynamic team at FlightStoryReporting to: Director of Guests and ResearchLocation: London
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, pitch, and produce world-class guests for The Diary Of A CEO
- Ensure every guest booked has the potential to create a high-impact, culturally relevant, and deeply insightful conversation
- Contribute to creative storytelling ideas that elevate episodes beyond traditional interviews
- Monitor YouTube, social media platforms, and cultural trends to identify emerging voices, outliers, and high-value potential guests
- Analyse social, search, and audience trends to inform guest booking decisions and ensure episodes remain timely, relevant, and engaging
- Conduct in-depth research on potential guests ahead of pitching to Steven, including their expertise, background, and alignment with The Diary Of A CEO themes
- Stay ahead of industry and cultural trends to uncover untapped opportunities for featuring individuals who can bring new ideas and perspectives to the audience
- Support the end-to-end guest booking process, building relationships with guests, agents, and publicists
- Work closely with the research team to develop creative storytelling elements for episodes, including props, imagery, and other visual aids
- Handle administrative tasks such as securing release forms and managing guest documentation
- Maintain an overview of guest booking processes and contribute recommendations to improve efficiency and the overall guest experience
- Identify when episodes may benefit from deeper, documentary-style research that explores complex stories or underrepresented topics
- Identify and connect with experts, contributors, and organisations that can strengthen the storytelling within episodes
- Conduct outreach to potential collaborators and sources who can provide deeper context and insight into specific topics
- Support the development of workflows that allow more in-depth research episodes to be executed efficiently alongside the regular production schedule

- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Availability to attend recordings outside typical hours when required, including evenings or weekends
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly when working under time pressure
- Commitment to using systems, tools, and workflows that keep research and guest processes organised and efficient
- A genuine passion for producing exceptional conversations and delivering a seamless, memorable experience for guests and audiences alike
