  • Analyse social, search, and audience trends to inform guest booking decisions and ensure episodes remain timely, relevant, and engaging.
  • Conduct in-depth research on potential guests ahead of pitching to Steven, including their expertise, background, and alignment with The Diary Of A CEO themes, identifying unique angles that could make episodes stand out.
  • Stay ahead of industry and cultural trends to uncover untapped opportunities for featuring individuals who can bring new ideas and perspectives to the audience.
  • Support the end-to-end guest booking process, building relationships with guests, agents, and publicists to secure high-quality conversations.
  • Work closely with the research team to develop creative storytelling elements for episodes, including props, imagery, and other visual aids that enhance the conversation.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as securing release forms and managing guest documentation.
  • Maintain an overview of guest booking processes and contribute recommendations to improve efficiency and the overall guest experience.
  • Identify when episodes may benefit from deeper, documentary-style research that explores complex stories or underrepresented topics.
  • Work with the Head of Research to identify and connect with experts, contributors, and organisations that can strengthen the storytelling within episodes.
  • Conduct outreach to potential collaborators and sources who can provide deeper context and insight into specific topics.
  • Support the development of workflows that allow more in-depth research episodes to be executed efficiently alongside the regular production schedule.

Core Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with high-profile guests and their teams.
  • The ability to analyse social, search, cultural, and audience trends to inform guest strategy and episode relevance.
  • A keen interest in YouTube, digital platforms, AI tools, and how they can improve guest research and production workflows.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Availability to attend recordings outside typical hours when required, including evenings or weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly when working under time pressure.
  • A genuine passion for producing exceptional conversations and delivering a seamless, memorable experience for guests and audiences alike.
