Schedule

  • 40 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday, 10pm - 6:30am, 3rd shift
  • 40 hours per week, Thursday - Monday, 2pm - 10:30pm, 2nd shift

Responsibilities

  • Real-Time Surveillance & Detection: Monitor integrated security systems, including CCTV and Access Control (Symmetry/Proxyclick), to proactively identify security breaches, life-safety threats, or facility anomalies.
  • Global Incident Coordination: Act as the central “Air Traffic Control” during emergencies. Dispatch local security teams, coordinate with emergency services (911), and provide clear instructions to employees during medical emergencies or active threats.
  • Fusion Center Operations: Operate within an integrated intelligence-sharing framework aligned with the Fusion Center Model, facilitating real-time collaboration between internal security teams, law enforcement partners, and government agencies. Aggregate, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence across physical and digital domains to enable proactive, all-hazards risk mitigation for Intuit’s global footprint.
  • Threat Intelligence & OSINT: Utilize Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools (e.g., Dataminr, Ontic) to monitor geopolitical unrest, weather events, and travel risks that could impact Intuit’s global workforce or supply chain.
  • Crisis Communications: Execute mass notification protocols (Everbridge) to deliver timely, accurate safety alerts to thousands of employees and C-suite stakeholders during critical events.
  • Digital-Physical Convergence: Support investigations by auditing access logs and video footage to protect against unauthorized physical access to sensitive data centers and labs.
  • Behavioral Threat Assessment Quality: Ensure the accurate and reliable application of formal behavioral models, such as the Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR-21), to guarantee inter-rater reliability and defensible risk assessments in all insider threat and path-to-violence cases.
  • Detailed Documentation: Maintain high-standard shift logs and draft comprehensive Incident Reports that provide actionable data for the Global Security leadership team.
  • System Health Advocacy: Perform routine “virtual patrols” and system checks to ensure all security hardware and software are functioning at 100% capacity.

Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 2+ years in a GSOC, emergency dispatch (911), corporate security, or military/law enforcement operations center.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, International Relations, or Emergency Management highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) software, preferred.
  • Ability to distill complex, high-pressure situations into calm, concise verbal and written briefs for executive leadership.
  • Must be comfortable working in a 24/7 environment. This role requires high “situational awareness” and the ability to pivot between mundane tasks and high-stress emergencies instantly.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
  • Strong proficiency with technology.
  • State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process).

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Platform Expertise: Direct experience with Symmetry, Exacqvision, Proxyclick, Ontic, and Everbridge.
  • Analytical Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools to track security trends.
  • Fusion Center Familiarity: Experience working with or alongside a federal, state, or corporate fusion center. Understanding of the “all-crimes, all-hazards” fusion center methodology and information-sharing protocols (e.g., 28 CFR Part 23) is a strong differentiator.
  • WAVR-21 certification preferred.
  • Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
