About the Team
Our Global Partner Ecosystem Sales (GPES) organization scales Splunk’s business through the Global System Integrator (GSI) ecosystem — driving joint go-to-market strategy, building Splunk practices and solution capabilities to help enterprise customers in their AI journey with industry-leading AI SecOps, AI Observability, and AI Ops offerings. We operate as a fast-paced, entrepreneurial group tasked with defining how Cisco shows up in the AI era through embedded software and new transactional business models. The team is highly collaborative, bringing together experts from multiple subject areas to solve complex market challenges, with the opportunity to move beyond traditional reseller models to create scalable, innovative partnerships that directly define the future of technology.
Responsibilities
- Build the fiscal and longer-term go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Splunk GSI business, aligned to both Cisco's top-down strategy and external market forces.
- Define and operationalize common success metrics across GSI partners.
- Track and report GSI business performance against those metrics.
- Identify, prioritize, and drive large critical initiatives that accelerate the Splunk GSI business and require cross-functional or programmatic effort — for example, ecosystem plays (e.g., Cloud Service Providers, Technology partners), cross-portfolio opportunities, new partner incubation, and investment/funding mechanisms.
- Drive cadence with cross-functional teams (e.g., Theater, Tech, Cisco) to improve lateral collaboration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Finance to translate sophisticated new technologies into scalable commercial partner monetization frameworks.
- Influence the organizational roadmap by monitoring market shifts in AI and platform ecosystems to ensure long-term advantages.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in partner/alliance management, channel sales, or GTM strategy roles, including direct experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs).
- 5+ years of experience building and operationalizing joint go-to-market strategies with strategic partners.
- 8+ years of experience working cross-functionally across sales, product, and partner organizations to drive measurable business outcomes.
- 8+ years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, or Sales Acceleration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering with major GSIs (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, HCL, TCS, Infosys, Kyndryl, or similar).
- Experience in Cybersecurity, Observability, IT Operations, or Enterprise Data/Analytics platforms.
- Track record of driving renewals and expansion motions through partner channels.
- Strong executive presence and experience influencing senior collaborators across partner and internal organizations without direct authority.
- Experience with partner enablement, Centers of Excellence (CoE) development, or joint investment/funding models.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
