Growth Sites - Digital Manufacturing IT Program Manager
This position can sit out of one of the following locations: Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC. The expected annual salary range is $146,000 - $219,000 a year, including eligibility for a variable incentive program.
About the role
We are seeking an expert-level Senior Program Manager to translate business or functional vision into plans and guide their execution. This role sits within IT Operations & Enterprise PMO, providing the operating backbone for how we organize work to support Eaton's Key Growth Sites. The Senior Program Manager owns the end-to-end Digital Manufacturing value stream (Production → MES → Quality → Performance) across these sites, driving one roadmap, one KPI set, and one outcome story by scaling proven solutions site to site rather than running each site as standalone project work.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement program plans and strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage complex program activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with the CI, digital, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of program initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program strategies and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide support and guidance to team members to help them achieve program objectives.
- Communicate program initiatives and their impact to all stakeholders effectively.
- Drive one outcome story across the Production → MES → Quality → Performance roadmap, milestones, and KPI performance across all growth sites.
- Partner with CI and Digital (IT) delivery teams to organize the work to deliver the manufacturing digital backbone — MES (Ignition), shop-floor connectivity, quality systems, and performance analytics (Palantir).
- Leverage key resource teams such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Integrated Ops to drive outcomes.
- Plan the forward-deployment of capabilities in partnership with capability owners and BRMs.
- Ensure teams create repeatable standard work to scale to prioritized growth sites; manage cross-site sequencing and dependencies.
- Partner in the operating model — BRMs own funding, business prioritization, and benefit realization; CI designs process improvements; site leads deploy and sustain. You own coordination, delivery, KPI attainment, and dependencies between them.
- Track business value and benefit realization (roadmap readiness, OEE, first-pass yield, throughput); communicate via monthly steering committees and report progress and risk on joint business and IT leadership cadence.
Skills
- Advanced Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills to manage complex program activities and guide program teams.
- Strategic Planning: Expertise in developing and executing strategic program plans.
- Change Management: Proficiency in managing organizational change and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Conflict Resolution: Strong skills in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges during program execution.
- Innovation: Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement within program initiatives.
- Influence: Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to support program objectives.
- Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills to make informed choices impacting program success.
- Work Organization: Ability to organize work in motion and make thoughtful changes to accelerate outcomes.
- Matrixed Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
