Growth Marketing Manager, Lifecycle

Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle marketing strategy for your audience — define the channel mix, set the prioritization framework, and ensure every communication delivers clear value to the target user
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data Science to unlock new platform capabilities, influence roadmaps, and push beyond out-of-the-box tooling
  • Drive creative strategy — brief, review, and iterate on assets across email, push, SMS and in-app with a strong feedback loop with designers and copywriters
  • Write tight creative briefs and give specific, actionable feedback for designers and copywriters
  • Take complex experiment results and translate them into clear takeaways for audiences who aren't steeped in growth marketing
  • Work cross-functionally to advocate for your priorities and build alignment without having direct authority
  • Use monetary incentives to drive behavior change and impact
  • Build complex automated marketing journeys in a CRM platform and know when out-of-the-box functionality isn't enough

Requirements

  • 6+ years in growth marketing. You've owned a full lifecycle marketing program from the ground up — not just executing campaigns, but building strategy from high-level goals and managing a prioritized roadmap
  • Strong SQL skills required — you’re comfortable pulling and QA-ing your own data and don't wait on a data partner to answer basic questions. We will test for this.
  • A system for experiment prioritization — impact scoring, clear success metrics, and a track record of knowing when to deprioritize based on business needs
  • Experience using monetary incentives to drive behavior change and impact
  • Experience building complex automated marketing journeys in a CRM platform and know when out-of-the-box functionality isn't enough

Qualifications

  • You have experience using AI tools and have built automations or workflows that save your team time. Bonus if you’ve used Claude or Cursor.
  • You have experience working cross-functionally to advocate for your priorities and build alignment without having direct authority
  • You have experience writing tight creative briefs and giving specific, actionable feedback for designers and copywriters
  • You have experience taking complex experiment results and translating them into clear takeaways for audiences who aren't steeped in growth marketing
  • You have experience building complex automated marketing journeys in a CRM platform and know when out-of-the-box functionality isn't enough

Skills

  • Strong understanding of behavioral science frameworks to inform message sequencing, timing, and incentive design

Pay

Schedule

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
